A Two-Minute Daily Now Review

Last updated: September 13, 2026

A short review keeps Now honest. The goal is not to plan every hour, but to remove stale choices and leave no more than three tasks that still matter.

1. Look at what is already in Now

Ask whether each active task still deserves a place in your current view. Keep it if you intend to act on it. If its timing has changed, move it to Soon or Anytime.

2. Notice what you completed

Recently Completed gives you a quick view of finished work. Use it to recognize progress and to reopen a task only when it was completed by mistake or still needs action.

3. Move unfinished work deliberately

An unfinished task does not automatically need to remain in Now. Keep it there only if it is still a current priority. Otherwise, move it without treating that choice as failure.

4. Pick from Soon

If Now has space, use Pick from Soon to choose an upcoming task. Select something specific that you can begin, rather than filling the list simply because space is available.

5. Stop at three

Once Now contains the few tasks that matter, the review is finished. Rymlo will not change or move tasks for you. The daily review is a prompt to make those choices yourself.

A simple check

  • Is every task in Now still current?
  • Does each task describe a clear action?
  • Is there anything in Soon that matters more?
  • Are there no more than three active tasks?

Two minutes is a useful target, not a timer you have to obey. If the list is already right, the review can take only a few seconds.
